WG11 Participation A WG11 meeting was held in London in November 1998 (report of the meeting is in SC22 N2652); the attendance at this meeting was minimal. A tentatively scheduled WG11 meeting for August 1998 will not take place due to delays in producing the 2nd CD of LIA-2. 2. Proposed text for a new ToR: "To study binding issues between programming languages and the abstract facilities with which they interface or interact, and to propose, develop and maintain ISO standards in this area." 2.2 Reconfirmation of ISO/IEC 10967-1:1994 With reference to SC22 N2674: WG11 recommends reconfirmation of ISO/IEC 10967-1:1994 - Language Independent Arithmetic - Part 1: Integer and Floating Point Arithmetic. 2.3 Projects Not Reaching CD Stage Within Three Years of NP Approval With reference to SC22 N2698: LIA-3 will be produced after LIA-2 has become stable and is well underway.
