Resolution R9609-01: Meeting Schedule WG20 resolves to have the following meeting schedule: 1997-05-12/16: City of Quebec, Canada 1997-11-10/14: Egypt (to be confirmed) 1998-05-11/15: Dublin 1998h2: Israel Resolution R9609-02: Convenership of WG20 WG20 recommends to SC22 to reappoint Arnold Winkler as convener of WG20. Resolution R9609-03: API standard project WG20 recommends to SC22 that SC22 recommends to JTC1 to take into account the participation of the following member bodies and P members of SC22: United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia, Denmark, Canada, France and United States, which makes 7 member bodies participating in this project. It is considered an unnecessary delay to the project to reissue a JCT1 ballot. If this is not granted, WG20 recommends to SC22 to resubmit to JTC1 the NP for ballot in JTC1. Resolution R9609-04: Progressing 10176 WG20 instructs the editors of TR 10176, Mr Kido and Mr Noda, to conduct an editing meeting by electronic means to produce the disposition of comments of the PDTR ballot, ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22 N2163. Noting that the PDTR ballot has been passed, and the anticipated document will not contain major technical changes, WG20 recommends to SC22 that the resulting document be forwarded to JTC1 for further processing in a DTR ballot. Resolution R9609-05: Proposal from ANSI/Unicode UTC WG20 approves N491 as a response to N490 and instructs its convener to send N491 to UTC. Resolution R9609-06: 14652 cultural conventions WG20 requests SC22 to permit concurrent CD registration and CD ballot for the project JTC1.22.30.02.03 Cultural Conventions specification standard. Resolution R9609-07: progressing of TR 11017 WG20 accepts N474 as the disposition of comments on the DTR ballot on TR 11017, JTC1 N4015 and it summary of voting in JTC1 N4196. WG20 instructs the editor to provide the final text, and the convener to forward this for publication. Resolution R9609-08: progressing of ISO/IEC 14652 WG20 resolves the following progression of 14652: a. the document N493 will be placed on the web and distributed b. comments have to be submitted no later than one month after posting on the web. c. the editor will incorporate comments in a revised document and submit it to the convener d. the convener is instructed to submit the resulting document for concurrent registration and CD ballot.
