The meeting will precede the SC2/WG3 meeting and the SC2 plenary meetings which are to be held on the same site. All meetings will be hosted by the Finnish Data Communication Association (FDCA). The objective of this meeting is to continue WG2 program of work and adopt resolutions on repertoire contents and allocation of code space. Since the SC2 plenary follows the WG2 meeting then I expect that all pending WG2 resolutions will be resolved at the SC2 plenary. I will also prepare a WG2 report on our program of work during the last two years which will be distributed in time for the June meeting. I will post the agenda of the meeting in the few weeks to the SC2/WG2 ftp site in Denmark. It is necessary to make your own hotel reservations and arrange your own flights. A block of rooms have been reserved. Please refer to the "JTC1/SC2" or to the host "FDCA" when making your reservations. The meeting will start at 9:00 am on 26 June at the following hotel: Unitas-Opisto (Unitas Training Center) Ramsinniementie 14 00980 Helsinki, Finland Reservation Phone: + 358 0 319 1445 Hotel Phone: + 358 0 319 11 Fax: + 358 0 319 1400 The meeting center is about 10 km east of the center of Helsinki and about 20 km from the airport. The rate is FIM 370 per day (about US $ 85.00) which includes accommodation for a single room, breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. It should be noted that at that time most people in Finland have started their summer vacation. The mid summer festival is celebrated just before the meeting, on the night of June 23 to June 24. The weather is normally nice and warm at that time with the temperature fluctuating between 20 and 30 degrees centigrade. Hotel services at the meeting site are very minimal before Monday 26 June, but the FDCA has offered to help check people into the hotel when they arrive before Monday 26 June.
