  1. Other Achievements:

    1. Updated the World Wide Web site for WG2 and posted an increasing number of documents to the site. The URL is www.dkuug.dk/JTC1/SC2/WG2. Keld Simonsen of the Danish UNIX Users Group (dkuug) in Copenhagen, Denmark continues to operate the site.

    2. No paper distribution since meetings 40. Documents were available on the web site for downloading and accessing online. WG2 expects that this would be the norm for distributing WG2 documents.

    3. Worked proactively with DPRK and the Korean experts to include their requirements in 10646, including additions to the repertoire

    4. Worked proactively experts from Cambodia to clarify our process and accepted additional repertoire requirements for Khmer.

    5. Worked proactively with all other experts who submitted contributions for inclusion in Amendment 2 of 10646-1 and Amendment 1 of 10646-2.

  1. Proposals for future WG2 meetings:

  6. Review jointly with SC2/WG2 future ad hoc meeting of SC2, SC35 and SC22/WG20 per resolution in last JTC1 plenary meeting

  1. WG2 Liaisons

WG2 continues to work very closely with the following liaison organizations.

In addition, WG2 has worked very closely with the following working groups but no official liaisons exist between them and WG2.

  1. Mailing List

The average number of recipients of WG2 documents is 80. Their national bodies or individuals that are linguistic and/or technical experts on coding technology nominate them. The number of attendees, representing about 19 national bodies, 3 liaison organizations and 18 affiliations, is now steady at an average of 35 people per meeting. There are approximately 150 technical experts who actively provide input to our working group.
